ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Xochitl (So-Cheel) Dixon encourages readers through the ministries of Our Daily Bread and the ECPA bestseller God Hears Her, and through her books, Different Like Me and Waiting for God: Trusting Daily in God’s Plan and Pace. ABOUT THE ILLUSTRATOR
Darshika Varma is a children's book illustrator based in Mumbai, India. She can usually be found poring over a book and sniffing in the scent of inked pages or taking long walks to draw inspiration for her vibrant illustrations.

·       Noticing Colors. In an interview, Xochitl can expand upon the theme of the book, which is the importance of young children being able to identify and appreciate colors. She strongly believes that familiarization with colors can show kids the unchanging truths about God’s character and promises, which they can cling to whenever they feel alone or lost.
