Multnomah Mission

History
WaterBrook and Multnomah are two imprints of Penguin Random House. WaterBrook was launched in September 1996 as an autonomous publishing imprint of Doubleday with the intent to publish books for Christians. Since the release of our first books in 1998, our publishing program has grown dramatically through the expansion of WaterBrook as well as the purchase of Harold Shaw Publishers in 2000 and acquisition of Multnomah Books in August 2006. Today the WaterBrook and Multnomah backlists feature a stellar roster of bestselling authors including Michael Todd, Jennie Allen, Liz Curtis Higgs, David Platt, Lisa Tawn Bergren, Randy Alcorn, Kay Arthur, Mark Batterson, Tim Tebow, Cindy Woodsmall, Chris & Kerry Shook, Latasha Morrison, Joanna Weaver, John Piper, Eric Blehm, Shaunti Feldhahn, Andy Stanley, Francine Rivers, Nick Vujicic, Kim Vogel Sawyer, Bruce Wilkinson, and many more.

Multnomah publishes books in the areas of discipleship and spiritual growth, Christian living, Bible study, apologetics, theology, devotional, evangelism, leadership as well as children’s books and works of uplifting fiction.
