About The Love Everybody Wants

NATIONAL BESTSELLER • ECPA BESTSELLER • Speaker and author Madison Prewett Troutt shows you how embracing God’s love allows you to truly love yourself and cultivate deep, meaningful relationships.

“Packed with incredibly wise, practical insights and biblical truths, this book will help you find the love that lasts and transforms lives.”—Craig and Amy Groeschel, founding pastors of Life.Church and authors of From This Day Forward

Is there something wrong with me? How many more wrong ones until the right one? Am I hard to love?

Madison Prewett Troutt knows what it’s like to ask these questions in the middle of the night—to doubt and worry about never finding the love so desperately hoped for. But Madi has discovered a deeper truth now, that the love we’re searching for is already ours.

In The Love Everybody Wants, Madi sets aside the shallow messages our culture shouts every day to help us hear God’s beautiful whisper: I have loved you with an everlasting love. And nothing will ever change that.

Drawing from Scripture and stories from her own life, Madi invites us to embrace God’s unconditional love so we can love ourselves well—and never settle for less. The Love Everybody Wants empowers you to

• view relationships in whole, holy, and healthy ways
• rely on biblical strategies for healing when your heart is hurting
• overcome lies such as “I have to follow my heart and feelings above all else”
• understand that a life partner is meant to complement you, not complete you
• look to your future with joy—because you were made to love

This isn’t a manual for how to get a boyfriend or a manifesto for getting married. It’s a book about the abundant love already at your fingertips—the love God has for you. The love that lasts forever, the love that changes everything. The love everybody wants.

“Madi is fiercely in love with Jesus. Ultimately, there is no other love that will satisfy. But The Love Everybody Wants will be a helpful guide for all of it—loving God and wrestling with our desires for love on earth too. This book will give you hope!”
Jennie Allen, New York Times bestselling author

Madison Prewett Troutt has amassed 3.2 million social media followers since 2020, when she was a finalist on a popular dating show. Young women look to Madi not only for dating advice, but also for her sound insights on faith and self-confidence.
Following her bestselling debut, Madi returns with The Love Everybody Wants: What You’re Looking For Is Already Yours (WaterBrook; 9/19/23), an empowering exploration into finding abundant love in the digital age—the love God has for you. In a world where young adults often believe their worth comes from likes on Instagram and an influx of messages on dating apps, Madi’s relatable journey to finding God’s love—the love that lasts forever—will encourage readers in all seasons of life.

Madi’s goal is for people to understand that although we weren’t made to go through life alone, “we can’t expect to have thriving friendships or romantic relationships until we’ve established our relationships with God and ourselves.” Through chapters on redefining true love, knowing your self-worth, and overcoming shame, Madi shares her personal experiences and insecurities, along with wisdom, biblical insights, pop culture references, and a dose of humor. Speaking directly to issues women are faced with today, Madi strives to detail why singleness is the most crucial season of one’s life. She wrote this book before she married, and while she sprinkles in dating advice along the way, the core message always centers around loving oneself first and foremost.
With keen examinations of social media trends, like the “pick-me girl” phenomenon, The Love Everybody Wants guides readers to see that they are enough because they are loved by God. Ideal for small groups, women’s gatherings, book clubs, and solo introspection, Madi’s hope is for people to value themselves and to not settle for less than they deserve.
Readers are guaranteed valuable insights from Madi’s personal experiences, ultimately being reminded that The Love That Everybody Wants is already theirs.
