Publishers Weekly has (Un)Qualified as #4 on the Hardcover Non-fiction list in the March 14, 2016, issue. The Wall Street Journal ranked (Un)Qualified as #5 on its March 10, 2016, Hardcover Non-fiction list and #8 on its Non-fiction Combined List. (Un)Qualified appears in the #10 spot on the Washington Post Hardcover Non-fiction list for March 13, 2016. In the March 10, 2016, issue of USA Today’s Top 150 Books list, (Un)Qualified is #26.
