DragonSpell anew?

by Michelle Archer

This book is a republished copy of The Vanishing Sculptor by Donita K. Paul, I have read both versions and there are no differences other than title. Once again Donita K. Paul has written an enchanting tale about dragons, magic, wizards, and so much more. Tipper is a young emerlindian, one of the seven high races of Chiril, who is struggling with many secrets. Her father, the famous artist Verrin Schope, has vanished. Leaving Tipper and... Read More

A Charming, Witty Adventure

by Natalie Richards

I loved the DragonSpell series, so when I saw this one I just had to read it. It took me a little longer to get into then Ms. Paul's other novels, but not much. Before long I was adventuring right along with Tipper and her friends, laughing at their silliness and enjoying the fun. "The Dragons of Chiril" my review

by Raechel Kelly

Book Ranking by Blogger: 4.5 Stars

This was the second book of the Chiril books by Donita K. Paul that I've read, though I wish this one would've been first, because it explained things a bitter better than the one I started with. One thing that I noticed, or perhaps, wished for, is that the book would have been totally built upon the Lord. Though, I thought that this book was better... Read More

My Thoughts: This story, for me, was a little slow getting going. As an after thought, now, I think I am glad it was. I had never heard of this series or the author - so taking a little time to get the story rolling really allowed me to "discover" the world. If that makes sense? I hope so. I really enjoyed the characters. I loved that Tipper was very independent and had a strong will. (You can see my goodreads reading updates HERE) ... Read More

Dragons of Chiril by Donita K. Paul - My Review

by Melissa Meeks

Book Ranking by Blogger: 4.0 Stars

This book clearly starts a new series and is presented to readers as if each one picking up the book is just being introduced to Amara and Chiril despite the fact that these worlds were created in a previous series by this author. Ms Paul does a highly commendable job of making this new series in an established world accessible to new readers without overwhelming her loyal fans who already understand the basics about the people and places...
