About Foolish No More!

How a 2,000-year-old letter can revolutionize your life.

The Apostle Paul was a wise saint who often revealed a crusty attitude–especially when the truth of the gospel was under attack. So when he penned his letter to his “dear children” in the faith–the Galatians–his frustration over their warped thinking had him about to blow his top. Though he tried to restrain himself, he couldn’t help but call them “foolish”!

Paul simply could not understand how any follower of Christ, adopted by faith into the most free and exciting life possible, could want to go back to the old way of bondage to rules and regulations.

You’d think by now, two thousand years later, things would have changed. But even today Christians just can’t seem to “get” the revolutionary message of spiritual freedom and power advocated in the book of Galatians.

In Foolish No More! Ted Haggard, senior pastor of New Life Church in Colorado Springs and president of the National Association of Evangelicals, retraces Paul’s arguments to make the clear case for breathtaking freedom in Christ.

So wise up! Discover how to put off the old ways and walk in the Spirit, enjoy freedom in Christ, and wield the power of God on behalf of His Kingdom.

Praise

Foolish No More! is profound but down-to-earth, serious but funny, and theological but very plain and human. Ted Haggard has a wonderful ability to make deep truths simple and easy to understand. You will love his story telling style. Most important, you will grow to love our wonderful Lord and want to serve Him all the more.”
--Vonette Z. Bright, Co-Founder-Campus Crusade for Christ, International

“Honestly, who wants to be stupid…let alone foolish? Foolish No More! is an empowering guide for all ages to a wise and fun filled life. It overflows with practical and profound truths you can really get your hands and life around. Ted Haggard is our pastor and friend…these are the very principles that have blessed and strengthened our family for years.”
–John & Lisa Bevere, speakers and authors of Drawing Near, Bait of Satan, Kissed the Girls and Made Them Cry, and Out of Control & Loving It!

“Ted Haggard is one of those very rare people who can be relied upon to ‘say it like it is.’
To turn away from this re-visit of the life and message of Paul--and to fail to learn these crucial lessons--would be little short of willful foolishness. Controversial and challenging, this is a real page-turner, and the question and answer sessions make for equally compulsive reading. The spiritually blind or deaf will gain little from this book — others beware!”
--Dr. Clive Calver, Senior Pastor, Walnut Hill Community Church, Danbury, Connecticut

“I wholeheartedly support Ted Haggard’s desire to ‘seize all the life Jesus promised’ through his series of LifeGiving Books. Here he presents basic foundational truths that are key to Christian living. As Solomon once wrote, ‘A fool finds pleasure in evil conduct, but a man of understanding delights in wisdom.’ Those who heed Ted’s advice are embracing wisdom and well on their way to being ‘foolish no more.’”
–James Robison, Founder and President, LIFE Outreach International
