Not By Might by Al Lacy jumps into the story without much introduction. It is a novel of historical fiction set in the Old West circa 1860's. It was a little hard to get into this book. The love between John and Breanna did get a bit gooey at times, it was just almost too good to be true. The Christian content to the story didn't bother me; in fact I enjoy reading books such as...
Not By Might, by Al Lacy, is book eight in the Angel of Mercy series. I have not read the other books in the series but was not hindered by this, as the story stood alone well. The story was centered around the Zechariah 4:6, repeated many times throughout the book. This is a fantastic Christian western story, set in the old west and complete with all of the typical old west characters, such as marshals, sheriffs, and deputies with their...
