About When God Made You
God was thinking of you long before your debut.
From early on, children are looking to discover their place in the world and longing to understand how their personalities, traits, and talents fit in. The assurance that they are deeply loved and a unique creation in our big universe is certain to help them spread their wings and fly.
Through playful, charming rhyme and vivid, fantastical illustrations, When God Made You inspires young readers to learn about their own special gifts and how they fit into God’s divine plan as they grow, explore, and begin to create for themselves.
‘Cause when God made YOU, somehow God knew
That the world needed someone exactly like you!

n these dark and trying times, it's important to fuel our tanks with positivity. That's especially important for the little ones in our life. I like to focus on any kind of positive story for our son from Raggedy Andy to the Saggy Baggy Elephant, but I really enjoy it when we can focus on stories that help him understand better the nature of God. If there's anything that our children need to understand right now it is that all...
As I am seriously starting to teach Rhys about God and Mormonism, I am on the search more than ever for Christian (and Mormon) picture books. He knows who Jesus is, but I want to really pound (I hate that term) it into him that Christ and Heavenly Father LOVE him. So, when I saw this book, I knew I had to get it.The pictures are adorable and very colorful. I love the illustrations. It is a sweet book that tells the child just how much God...
I received a complimentary copy of this book by bloggingforbooks.com for my honest review. When God Made You is a beautiful written and illustrated, lyrical, moving message to young children about how individualistic and special they are to God. "An incredible you, a you all your own, a you unlike anyone else ever known." That is just a sample of how sweet the book is - that barely touches how moving the words are. The book would be incomplete...

I read to my child every night because I want him to be good at reading. I also have instilled in him that reading is an adventure and that you can be anything and do anything within the pages of a book. I found this book to be very helpful in helping him to realize how special he is. He has not yet begun to struggle with his identity and I hope that with books like this it will prevent that from happening. This book allowed us to open up...
