About James Braga

James Braga was born in 1906 in the British colony of Hong Kong, the eighth of thirteen children. In 1949 he joined the faculty of Multnomah School of the Bible in Portland, Oregon, where he taught homiletics, methods of Bible study, and missions for twenty-six years. Following his retirement in 1975, he continued as the school’s chaplain for several more years and was widely loved and respected. He died in 1994, leaving a lasting legacy for his dedication to overseas missionaries and teachers.
