The Corruptible
By: Mark Mynheir
I really like private investigator Ray Quinn. You can't help but root for him and his side kick Crevis, who reminds me of Barney Fife from The Andy Griffith Show. Both Ray and Crevis deal with their own "skeletons" which cause each of them to do some self evaluation, but ultimately they are focused on the case at hand. These two make a great investigative team because they work and work and continue to investigate all angles and suspects of a crime until they catch the guilty party or parties. Even being shot at or being attacked doesn't scare this investigative duo, it makes them work harder to solve the case. A great book to add to your summer reading list.
