The Canary List
By: Sigmund Brouwer
I was drawn into this story immediately from the prologue. A brave orphaned 5 year old girl, Jaime tries to protect an orphaned 4 year old boy from some kind of ritual abuse that neither of them understand, they just knew it was evil. You then find Jaime who is now 12 and she still feels that "evil is hunting her". As Jaime's story unfolds, you then meet her school teacher, Mr. G, Crockett Grey and his neighbor Nana. Evil is after Jaime, Mr. G's life begins to unravel with accusations, arrests, conspiracy, the Vatican, and a key witness, Nana disappears. This book is a page turner with many twists and turns where you think you have figured everything out, only to find out how wrong you are.
The Canary List will be available, June 21, 2011. A great book to enjoy this summer.
