Have you ever read a book that you just couldn't stop thinking about? This was one for me. Nick, the author, was born without arms and legs and yet has done more and traveled to more places then most people even dream of going. He's only 29 and yet has a huge nonprofit company and has touched the lives of thousands of people. I can only wish to be as encouraging as he is. I received this book for free from WaterBrook Publishing as part of their Blogging for Books program and I am so very glad that I did. My husband is going through a rough time in his life and I kept finding myself snapping a photo of certain passages and sending them to him because I knew it would uplift and encourage him. I think one of my favorite parts of this book is when he said to put the word GO in front of DISABLED. He says now read it fast and you will discover that it makes the sentence GOD IS ABLED. Now how neat is that? I loved how down to earth he is and it's evident when he keeps cracking jokes about missing his limbs. I first learned of Nick and his campaign of spreading God's love when he did an interview with Entertainment Tonight. I ordered his book that evening. I will be looking up his videos on YouTube and also reading his first book. I enjoyed reading his accounts and the emails he shared of people who's lives he has touched and helped. May God continue to bless this man and his mission.
