Christ our Mediator by C.J. Mahaney is a great reminder of what Christ did for us Christians on the cross. Although it is a short, quick reading book, the ideas within it are powerful. Here are a couple of quotes for you: Unless you're deeply aware of your sin, and of what an affront it is to God's holiness, and of how impossible it is for Him to respond to this sin with anything other than furious wrath -- you'll never appreciate grace, and it will never be amazing to you. Only those who are truly aware of their sin can truly cherish grace. God, in abandoning His Son, is treating Jesus as a sinner so that He can treat you and me -- who are sinners -- as if we were righteous...all because of Jesus. We can all use fresh reminders of the wonderful work that Jesus did for us on the cross. We need to be reminded daily, hourly, every single minute because we forget so easily. This book will help you remember.

I want to thank WaterBrook Multnomah for my (kindle) copy of this book, but my opinions are my own.
