In this book, Liz Curtis Higgs takes you on a trip to Bethlehem during the time of the judges.

Refers to value, significance, or worth – which God reaffirmed in Ruth’s life. No matter where you have come from or what you have done, God still loves you, and He has a plan for your life.

However, is the book’s biggest fault. The academics behind the book are something worthy of some serious respect, and the comparison of different texts in order to gain a fuller understanding of the subject makes for some interesting reading.

But nonetheless, it is a good book for someone looking for some insight on one of The Bible’s greatest women.

I would recommend this for your woman’s group you will have laughs, cries and just an all around good time with the Lord at your table.

I received a complimentary copy from the publisher for my review. I was not required to give a positive review, only my honest opinion – which I’ve done. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

I give it 5 stars
