Self Help - Motivational
I'll admit I read this entire "booklet" in a half an hour on my stationary bike.
Nick Vujicic was born without arms or legs and from what I can tell of this short book has lived a normal life complete with travel and speaking engagements.
The purpose for writing it is to evidently let folks know that no matter how awful your life is, things will eventually be better. Through his faith in God and just plain hope for the future, Vujicic has proven that there is no such thing as a useless life.
One of the things I liked most about it was the fact that this parents stress that he is not "abnormal". He went to regular school, mingled with normal kids and although there were frustrations along the way that almost lead him to suicide at a very young age, he triumphed through it all.
Quick easy read an something I can see giving to the teenagers in my school who many think that their life is just too difficult.
I received this book for free from Multnomah publishing and this review reflects my true thoughts on the book.
