I Exalt You O God is an in depth look at the many ways we should worship God. In Thirty One days Jerry Bridges leads the searcher/reader through four ways of Exalting God for He is Worthy. Using scripture verses, stories and everyday natural events he brings to our thoughts the Greatness, Holiness, Wisdom and Love of God and ways to praise and honor and worship Him Starting in the introduction with explanation of the meanings of worship Mr. Bridges inspires us to live a life of worship. With subtitles of chapters like God Plays For Keeps, Glorious Perfection, Skill and Judgment to Admire, A Healthy Tension among others he draws the reader in to the daily readings. I found this book very helpful in looking at my own private worship time in a new and exhilarating way to bring fresh ideas to it. As with most everything I am reading these days, this opinion is greatly influenced by the past four weeks while our family sat in the Intensive Care Unit of a hospital with my mother, watching and experiencing personally the miracles God worked in our presence. My worship will never be the same again, either in private or my life.

I received this ebook free from Waterbrook Multnomah Publishers through their Blogging for Books program in exchange for an honest review which I have recorded here. The opinions stated are my own.
