This is a must read for Christians who have been hurt by other Christians and for those who need to be reminded that Christians need to live as real followers of Jesus and not rule enforcers. The author relates many stories of people who were rejected and judged by church members who focused on legalism instead of grace. The purpose of the book is to show how Christians have failed each other and how to reverse the damage. The emphasis is on trusting God, extending grace and loving others in such a way that glorifies Jesus. There are practical examples of how to forgive, move on and live authentic lives as Christians. There is a helpful study guide with questions for group discussion at the back of the book. It would be an excellent book to do in group setting.
