This book was a hard read because it relates the authors actual spiritual approach and walk which may or may not work for you. Certain aspects did not. I tried. At least they did not work in the manner it did for the author. On the other hand, some ideas did. Finding something to trigger turning your thoughts toward God was a good one. Another was praying the Scriptures particularly Psalms. I have already been doing that but he brought it to another level and went even deeper. I like the study guides in the back of the book, they were also very helpful.
