Some people often think that living a Christian life is a life of deprivation in the world, saying no to all that life has to offer. This author presents an entirely different viewpoint that contradicts this type of thinking and he bases his thoughts and discussions on scripture that shows that God wants us to have an abundant and joy filled life. Our God is a god of encouragement for His people and He wants us to live the lives we are destined to have. I like that the book includes discussion questions that can be used for group study for individual reflection. The author gives us questions so we can further think about the material he presents to us. It gives us a different mindset that if followed can change how we think about our lives. I think this is a good book for Christian study and I recommend that you add this to your reading plan. I was provided a complimentary copy of this book for review by Waterbrook Multnoma Publishing. I was not obligated to write a positive review. The opinions in this review are my own.
