Juvenile Nonfiction / Social Situations / Suicide
Kristen Anderson tells her story to us in her book, Life in Spite of Me. It tells about her depression and suicide attempt and the aftermath which led to a complete change in her life. She found a purpose for living and reminds us that life is worth living even if the going gets tough. Sometimes we all need to step back and be appreciative of the life that we have. This book is an easy read and I recommend it to anyone who is struggling with depression. But I also recommend it to everyone because at some point we will all come across someone we know a friend or family member that could use an uplift. Five Stars.
