I really want to read this book. I find true stories of faith very fulfilling which increases my belief in God and His infinite mercy and love for all of us as individuals.

How does one know that this is a TRUE story, Because Mary Neal said it is? So how did she know which heaven she experienced, Christian, Islamic, Buddist, etc., which one?

I love reading books about heavenly experiences. Testimonies of life experiences are my favorites. I so look forward to reading her story and the blessing that God gave her. Really appreciate her sharing this with everyone.

The story begins with her childhood, and God has already come into her life through her childhood, her teenage years, espacially through her mom and dad’s divorce. But she has yet to realize this. At first she is bitter. Then she begins to see things differently even after her mom is remarried.Her stepdad loves them and treats them so well. The story is great so far. Sounds like it would be very interesting to read.
As a Protestant Christian, I believe that we are our bodies and our spirits. When we die, we are absent from the body and present with the Lord Jesus(II Corinthians 5:6-8). When Jesus will return for his Second Coming, he will bring the spirits of the saved back from heaven and there will be a resurrection,i.e.,a reunion of the body and spirit. Jesus is the only way to eternal life (John 3).
I’m crying while reading this book! On January 5, 2011 in Omaha, NE, I also died. My heart was falling apart during a very serious aortic leak. Bubbles went to my brain and I flatlined. I was revived, but had two strokes. I was in a 9 day coma. There was 2% chance of ever waking up, and IF I did, I had 50% chance of being deaf, blind, and mute. My husband would not allow them to take me off life support. But I woke up on the 9th day, and was so confused about everything and everyone. I looked at everyone and said, “I went to heaven. Colorful angels were around me. I was so happy…but my uncle told me I had to return…it wasn’t my time, and I had a “mission”. That’s when I woke up from the coma. I still have disabilities in steady walking, balance, use of my left hand, and I lost my teaching job of my sweet second graders. I lost SO much of my life, income…but I’ve NEVER been this happy! I have JOY! I know heaven, angels, God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit are absolutely true!! I feel blessed by God to go through 18 months and more of pain, struggles, and trials. This earthly life is just a speck!

Simliar thing for me too. I hit a tree head-on at 105 mph on a motorcycle.
The human body cannot handle that kind of trama, I don’t care who you are. Yet somehow, while I did have some broken bones (clavical, collar and hip), I left the hospital 7 days later.
During a period of no memory of things happening around me, I did have memory of the experience from the \other side\ and the feelings that came from it. I was 23 when this happened.
I saw my Grandfather who had passed when I was 9. He told me, \If there’s one thing in your life that you do that is wrong, it’s that you don’t tell the people you care about that you lovethem and you should before the time is taken away from you.\
I will never forget this, his mouth never moved, his thoughts and feelings transfered through me with completeness. Love is the most important thing, it’s the only thing we take with us.
I have several of the NDE books. They are very real and I do believe there is an eternity with God our Father, Our Lord Jesus Christ and our Holy Mother Mary. You will see your loved ones again. I was brought to the Emergency Room at our local hospital on Christmas Eve. 4:00 AM 2003. I remember seeing a white light and heard my Dad’s voice. He told me to go back as I needed to take care of my handicapped husband and two adorable dogs. Believe and you will rejoice in Paradise. Amen.

The other face of the token: Hell is real also. Only those who have accepted Jesus Christ as their personal savior, have repented of their sins will be saved. We are born sinners and we should be converted to become children of God.Heaven is made for children of God. Evils works are fruits of those who do not know Jesus Christ, the Holy Spirit and God the Father.
I read the first chapter of this book and I am convinced there is a heaven and there are angels and there is a beautiful life after death. I am catholic and I have had personal miracles happened to me in my life and I believe in Jesus. God answers prayers. Looking forward to reading the whole book. As a Charismatic Catholic, I have the awesome gift of receiving the Holy Eucharist at Mass every day, this in itself offers a union with Christ that is so real and peaceful and heavenly, just exactly as described by witnesses of NDE.
Praying in tongues and invoking the Holy Spirit offers insights to heaven and angels, here on earth. We are given so many gifts as testimony to Christ love for us, while we wait for the end of this earthly journey. Keep up your prayers!
Have heard so many rave reviews thru people I love. Would love to read this book someday soon. However, I also was in a car accident in 2000 which put me in a coma for a month and several months of continued therapy for 2 fractured vertebra, 2 n 3, pelvic bone and a punctured lung. Yet praise the Lord I am here today only because of his Love. Yet was unsure how to explain my experiences. This will help I am sure. God Bless U.
